About THRIVE

We don’t believe in passive, sit-and-soak team training.

THRIVE helps teams embody their values, so their internal culture reflects the same creativity, compassion, and drive they’re working toward externally. Alignment isn't automatic.

It’s practiced.

Meet the Team

Ashley Moore-Dunson,
Culture Strategist & Team Development Specialist

Ashley brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, cross-cultural team development, and trauma-informed care. She’s trained in Trust-Based Relational Interventions, Conscious Discipline, and Restorative Practices, and holds a certification in Leadership & Team Consulting from GiANT Worldwide.

Ashley currently serves as Director of Villages at Citizen Akron, where she facilitates and coaches a cohort of 30+ leaders each month. In that role, she equips teams with tools for communication, culture-building, and collaborative leadership — helping them translate vision into everyday practice. Her work is rooted in the belief that when psychological safety and strategic clarity align, teams thrive.

What sets Ashley apart is her high emotional intelligence, wisdom, and ability to design rhythms and environments that foster belonging, trust, and long-term alignment. Whether facilitating a team retreat or consulting with organizational leaders, she brings both compassionate presence and cultural precision to the work of transformation.

Why We Do This Work

We founded THRIVE not just as a company — but as a calling.

We’ve spent our careers in the arts, education, environment, and faith spaces—doing the work, not just talking about it. We know how hard it is to deliver on a mission when communication breaks down, trust wears thin, and teams are stretched.

We created the PraxisPlay™ methodology because we were tired of watching passionate people sit through professional development that felt passive, disconnected, and ineffective—the kind that leaves you drained but not changed.

We don’t just teach collaboration. We embody it.

Because the organizations shaping a better world deserve development that’s as bold, human, and mission-aligned as they are.

We believe professional development should move people —
not just emotionally, but physically, mentally, and culturally.
Because growth doesn’t happen in silence.
It happens in the room, in the moment, between people.

Play isn’t a break from the work — it is the work.
It disarms. It reveals. It makes space for what’s been stuck.

But Play alone isn’t enough.
Transformation needs Praxis — the cycle of exploration, action, reflection, and integration.

We build tools you can use on Monday.
Because real change happens when insight meets practice —
especially when the room gets hard.

This is PraxisPlay™
Professional development that actually changes something.
